New Phone System
Our new answering system provides easy access to information! Phone Tip (Objective: Speed)
If you know the menu number you wish to access (rather than listening to the entire menu of options and then making a selection), you may press the desired menu number immediately after you hear the word “thank you” in the opening greeting to go to that selection as quickly as possible. For example, if you wish to access recycling site information and you know its menu number is 6, press 6 immediately after you hear the word “thank you” in the opening greeting. You will be directed to recycle site information as quickly as possible. Phone Menu

New Truck Service
The Going Garbage and Recycling has recently added a commingled automated sideloader to its fleet. This automated truck uses a robotic arm to lift and empty carts. When it was purchased in spring 2006, it was one of only 4 such trucks currently in service in the United States.
