The Town Of Liberty Grove Recycling Instructions*

Location

The Town of Liberty Grove recycle drop-off site is located at the Going Drop-off Site, 10564 Old Stage Rd., 1/4 mile south of Hwy. ZZ.

Drop-Off Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M.
Saturday 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon
Wednesday & Sunday CLOSED
or by appointment

The Town of Liberty Grove intends this facility to be used only for recyclables generated by town residents and businesses. If your are from Gibraltar, Ephraim, Village of Egg Harbor, Town of Egg Harbor, Jacksonport, Baileys Harbor, or any other town or village, we ask that you use your local site. The attendant at this site may require proof of residency before allowing drop-off of recyclables. For information about where your municipal site is, when it is open, and what is recyclable, contact the Going office: (920) 854-2114, toll-free (877) 854-2114, or info@goinggarbage.com. Town of Liberty Grove recycling information is also available 24 hours a day on the Going answering system.

Regulations

The Town Of Liberty Grove Site accepts material in the following categories:

Paper/Cardboard

This includes newspaper, magazines, junk mail, office paper, container board, corrugated cardboard, catalogs, phone books, etc. All paper and cardboard products must be flattened, dry, and free of food debris and restroom waste.

Containers (Commingled Group)

This includes unflattened, unbroken food and beverage containers made of glass, aluminum, tin, and plastics #1 and #2. These containers may not exceed one gallon in size, and plastic containers must have a mouth smaller in diameter than the base. All items must be rinsed of food or liquids, and all caps and lids must be removed. (Plastic bags used to transport recyclables, caps and lids are considered regular garbage and are not recyclable.)

Waste Oil/Lead Acid Batteries/Tires

Waste oil must be dropped of in non-returnable containers with sealed caps. Batteries must be brought in without leaks. Tires must be brought in without rims, and with the inside of the tire cleaned out.

Note

  • Leaving any material on the ground at any time Is considered littering, and may be prosecuted as such.
  • Under no circumstances are non-recyclable items or garbage (household or other) accepted under the recycling program.
  • Recycle bins may be removed from site during closed hours.
